Just a July update
Well friends I am finally back and have been just crazy with stuffers, and problems - had to reformat my computer, illness and creating. As soon as I possibly can I will have another tut up for you.

PTU or FTU mini kit
The majority of my creations are for doll tags but you are welcome to create to your imaginations content.
I am using PSP 10 and this tut is written for those with a working knowledge of the tools.

Let’s get started. Open a new transparent image 500 x 500. Open Bkg 20 and 20, duplicate them and close the originals. Resize the Bkg’s to 500 x 500 pixels. Open your flower frame by Yvette, duplicate, close the original and resize it to 450 x 450.
Copy and paste your scallop frame as a new layer into your blank image, copy and paste as a new layer Bkg. 20 into your image with the scallop frame. With your scallop frame highlighted click the outer scallop edge of your frame with your magic wand. Using these settings:
Highlight your paper layer, go to selections, choose invert and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Select none.
Highlight your scallop frame layer and using your magic wand, click on the inner circle of your frame, go to selections – modify – expand and expand by 1. Highlight your outer frame layer and flood fill the selection with #f98db8. Select none. You can also use another paper and just go through the above steps with the inner frame. Hide the frame by Yvette, and add drop shadow to your paper frame creation. -2,-2, 50 & 5. I will be using this drop shadow setting throughout the tut. Save your work.
Minimize that image for the moment. Using Bkg. 20 go to layer – load/save mask - load from disc – and apply the mask 227InsatiableDreams using these settings: check mark, source luminance, fit to layer, invert transparency, hide all mask and click load.
Delete the mask layer, right click on the layers in the layer palette, merge group, copy and paste the paper in to your frame image as a new layer. Drag to the bottom of the layers. Unhide and highlight your scallop frame layer in the layer palette and using your magic wand, click outside the frame, go to selections – modify – expand by 3, click ok, highlight your new mask layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard.
Delete the layer with Yvette’s frame. Do not merge. Hide your mask layer.
Open raindrops 2, duplicate and close the original. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste into your image as a new layer, drag down between the frame layer and the mask layer, and add drop shadow same as before.
Open swirl 3, duplicate and close the original. Resize by 28%. Copy and paste into your image as a new layer . Place at the bottom of the frame with the stock as close to center as possible. Add your drop shadow – duplicate the layer – mirror. Merge visible. Save your work.
Open flower 3, duplicate and close original. Resize by 19%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open flower 4, duplicate and close original. Resize by 19%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer.
Free rotate 25 degrees left making sure that all boxes are unchecked. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open flower 10, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open flower 11, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open daisy 3, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open daisy 4, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open grassnflowers, duplicate and close original. Resize by 50%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Drag below your frame and place where you think it looks best. Erase anything that hangs below the frame. Add drop shadow.
Open butterfly 3, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open butterfly 4, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Mirror, add drop shadow. Place where you want it.
Open lady 4, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you want it. Save your work.
Open bow 2, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Free rotate by 25 degrees, right, making sure you uncheck all boxes. Place on frame. Add drop shadow.
Open bears 5 and 6, duplicate and close original. Resize by 25%, copy and paste into your image as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place in center of frame holding paws, you want it on top of the raindrops and behind the grass layers.
Once you are satisfied with the placement of all elements, unhide your mask layer and merge all visible. Add a new layer and put your name on it.
Using these settings: I used these colors #5db2f5 and #f98db8. Catty Wumpas or your choice, size 60, stroke width 1.5, floating not vector, add drop shadow and select none. Merge flatten and you’re done. Save your work.

First post - Well as usual you have to start somewhere
Hi Talon here! I will have a new tut for you soon, but thought I would at least get the ball rolling by making my first post just to make sure I have the faintest idea what I am doing, lol! Norma with Swheat Creations has added me to the team to create some tuts for you to do using her P.T.U and F.T.U kits. I am really excited and hope that I can do right by her and by you. I will do my best to make sure the tuts are understandable and concise. They have some really darling and very gorgeous kits on her site, I hope you check her out if you got here from some other site. Her link is right here and on the left hand side. I truly hope you enjoy the site and the tuts. After I get started please leave me some comments so I know how I am doing. Huggs Enjoy
